Spain Beat Austria 3-0 to Qualify Round of 16

Spain showcases another world class performance against Austria side on July 2, 2026 at Los Angeles Stadium. 29 year old Spain forward, Oyarzabal has 16 goals in his last 16 games with the Spain national team after scoring twice in 3-0 win over Austria .

Spain goals and midfield domination 

The Real sociedad star, Oyarzabal, scored the first goal in 36th minute with brilliant assist from Cucurella. The La Roja shown much pressure on Austria team in the first half. The Chelsea left back, Cucurella and who has recently signed for Real Madrid scored a set piece goal but it was ruled out.

In 65th minute Pedro Porro received a great pass from Spain Left winger, Alex Beana. He played a beautiful header to double the Spain score. In the 88th minute of the match, Oyarzabal scored the third goal

Pedri and Rodri dominated the midfield with ball control, winning ground duels and forward pressing as18 year old Lamine Yamal performing his magic, insane dribbles and touches in the final third.

Big chances missed

Beana also played one of the best free-kick in the tournament but it ended up hitting the bar.With both teams missing great chances, it was an interesting match for the fans since both teams kept open play game with less defensive ball.

As per Opta analysts before the match, Spain had a 70.6% win rate with only 12.2% for Austria. The reports also say that Austria are struggling defensively with Spain managing to keep clean sheet in all their matches since the start of the tournament.
