Israel Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu Rejects US Plan of Partial Disarmament of Hamas

Benjamin Netanyahu on Sunday, August 9, 2026 turned down the US backup plan of ending Israel-Hamas fight. According to reports, US had presented 15-point proposal document which aimed at Israel to allow Hamas partially disarmed themselves.

In his speech today, PM Netanyahu insisted on  full disarmament of Hamas, noting that Israel soldiers will remain in Gaza.

Netanyahu Appreciates Trump and US partnership but dismisses his ideas With Reasons

According to Israel Prime Minister's Office statement, PM Netanyahu declared his main point that he won't allow a set up of a Palestinian state in Gaza, Judea or Samaria.

"I greatly appreciate the historical partnership with the US against Iran's attempts to acquire nuclear weapons," he added.

The Prime Minister informed of how Israel troops in recent days have eliminated terrorists in Lebanon and on the Ali Taher ridge 

The Israel Defense Forces, (IDF) through their X official account  August 3, 2026 stated that they had eliminated Hamas terrorists who were aiming to attacking them together with Israel civilians.

Reports on Casualties and damages following Israel-Hamas Gaza War

According to UNICEF 6, August 2026, there has been at least 300 children deaths within 300 days of Israel-Hamas fight since the announcement of 'ceasefire' in October 2025.

Reports from UN aid and OCHA recently confirmed of damages and injuries to critical medical aid. According to OCHA, there has been 1,209 killings and 3,943 injuries since October 10, 2025.

Reports say that since the ceasefire agreement, become worse. The agreement meant no more booming or civilian attacks and it was aimed on temporarily ending the war.

If Gaza war continue at this rate, it could lead to more deaths, human suffering and more property damages.

"A ceasefire that leaves an average of one child dead each and everyday is failing children," Edouard Beigbeder, UNICEF Middle East and North Africa regional director said.

Israel and Hamas should save Gaza by ending their differences

The Israel-Hamas war signals how worse the situation is to the people of Gaza. The world is watching to see immediate cease of the fighting through the two sides coming into agreement.

Court Accepts Aden Duale's Apology in Laikipia Airbase Contempt Case
