Finally, After 53 Years of Waiting, the Knicks Parade

New York Knicks on top of the trucks during the parade yesterday 

NBA champions, New York Knicks, yesterday got a hero's welcome across the streets of NYC with a parade of floats.

New York City Mayor honored the team
 NYC mayor, Zohran during his speech at Knicks parade yesterday 

During the parade, Mayor Zohran Mamdani gave the players the highest honor. "This team has done it, The New York Knicks are the NBA champions," Zohran said. He also added that Knicks victory has brought the city together.
"You'll agree we did it, we did it...," Jalen Brunson said. Jalen is the teams captain and was named the finals MVP against the San Antonio Spurs on 14th June.

The Knicks Parade celebrated their win after 53 years of fighting for championship. The team had initially won in 1970 and 1973 against Los Angeles Lakers.
